If you haven't heard yet, Joerg Sprave (The Slingshot Channel on YT) has created a new CO2 powered six shot top-break dart firing revolver *specifically* to comply with German airgun laws.
In response to law abiding citizens trying to comply with the law, the German government decided to preemptively ban his product before it hit the market, forcing him to divert the entire initial shipment that was intended for Germany over to the US in order to hopefully recoup his costs.
If complying with the law does not protect you from government abuses, then there is no point in complying.

Is it because he's a famous content creator and excellent engineer bringing lots of positive attention to Germany?
No, it's because the German government has decided to preemptively ban his latest product before it even launched despite it being designed specifically to meet German law.
It is now 100% clear that no amount of strict adherence to the law will ever be enough. They intend to keep you as defenseless as possible while increasing their own safety at every opportunity.
