Something that western women don't get about strength is that it's exhibited when someone can bear something alone. Help is nice, but you're not strong when you bitch at men to do something for you or let you into a male space. You're strong when you do something that only a strong person can do. Could be facing your own death, could be taking revenge, could be laying down your life for duty.

There was something so pretentious about it, too. You had these fucking suited-up retards and a grown ass man with a Gakt haircut and wardrobe taking over a franchise that's decades old, a cornerstone of single player games, and they throw the entire thing out saying "WE KNOW BETTER! THIS IS WHAT THESE KIDS REALLY WANT!", and they just released slop. for almost 20 years.

The real Final Fantasy 13 was fucking Octopath Traveler, as far as I'm concerned. Having square publicly admit that E33 smacked some sense back into them is great.
