Most Americans I know think it's gross also. There will always be that one person who never grew up and likes sugar wherever they can stuff it. People who grew up dumping syrup all over their eggs and sausage and somehow not vomiting at the very sight of it. Those things don't sell nearly as well as their regular breakfast sandwiches, but the fat fucks who love them really love them.

Okay, but I don't have to have half my calories come from carbs. Or even 10%. I lose weight faster with fewer carbs. I DON'T WANT TO do cardio. If I was a fucking runner I wouldn't have been fat in the first place.
What we've got here are two groups and one doesn't understand the other.
>Just eat all the carbs you want but eat sensibly, three times a day and get a few miles in every morning or do a good cardio at the gym!
No, that's not who you're addressing. People who are obese will never become gymgoer kale-eating sensible health people.
Low-carb is for sedentary lifestyle people who have eating disorders and obesity.
If you're in the shrinking minority of Americans who can eat whatever they want and not become at all overweight, congratulations. But the reality is that 2/3 of Americans ARE overweight or obese now. We're at the 'desperate measures' area now and running is simply not the answer for people who play fucking videogames and eat pizza and get drunk and are fat.
I'm just the messenger here. The numbers are true.
