Seriously, what's the problem with Hiroi? He really is the writer who only specializes in writing Gary Stus and Mary Sues. Zero was slightly more agreeable, but she was also always put in the spotlight. She was forced to fight by Zenos and thus did nothing wrong, she forgives Golbez in an instant, she is implied to be the hero the 13th was waiting for, she is almost as strong as the WoL... Wuk Lamat is even worse, the whole narrative treats her and Gulool Ja Ja as basically perfect, despite there being several scenes and implications of the contrary. His writing and characters have the same depth of a puddle.

The Hound is boring as fuck, though. He's just a bloodthirsty god with no real character development or backstory (he was evil just for the sake of being evil, and stronger than all the other gods for some unknown reason). Women like him just because they want to "fix him" and be the only people for whom he feels a modicum of love and trust. Many such cases.
