I have tried to find good scifi on Amazon since I have that Kindle shit where you get to pick like 20 books for free a month and it's honestly a fucking nightmare.
I tried to find a few good first contact stories and found fuck all. It's hard to find anything good, and I am not even sure if the problem is the writers. There is so much obvious SEO going on, the attempts to make catchy titles, the flood of AI that is already there and the stuff that is coming. The descriptions and even titles loaded with keywords trying to catch my eye just repulse me.
Really sad.
