Great game, but Bananza has more creative level design and better movement. Bananas are better than Moons as well since they function as upgrades and not just an arbitrary progression block.

Galaxy 1 is dogshit. Cuckzumi will never make a good game. Just at this masterpiece of level design with some of the worst power-ups in the history of platforming power-ups. 2 is better but it's only okay.

Galaxy 1 is worst 3D Mario. Even Sunshine had redeeming qualities like the good movement. What does Galaxy have? It has open exploration levels but every single one is shit because Mario moves at a snails pace. It's not a good course-clear game because of shit like webm related. Mario has always been about building on complexity/difficulty as the game goes on but Galaxy doesn't do this, it simply throws a bunch of boring gimmicks at you and drops them not even 3 stars into a level, something Galaxy 2 completely fixed with vastly better level design and non-shit power ups (Yoshi alone mogs the entirely of Galaxy, I dare you to tell me you had fun using Bee Mario). What does Galaxy 1 do better than any of the other 3D Mario games?

Then you're thinking wrong since 3D World and Odyssey are better 3D Mario games. Galaxy doesn't have very good level design and the obnoxious automation with the warp stars was stupid.
