Make Chaos Daemons more visually discordant and reflective of their chaotic nature: see some FW sculpts like the OG chaos spawn or effects found on that one LoC.
Introduce Chaos more of a gradient as opposed to 4 distinct flavours and nearly abandoned undivided aspect: make token units for duo-element daemons combining the non-opposing Aetheric Dominions/God Aspects. Gods already mingle with eath other by fluff, might as well actually reflect it. Speaking of which, make token Daemon kits for the remaining lesser Dominions aspects.
Shroud Greater Daemons in more mystery: make their kits more modular akin to current Spawn kit to reflect ambiguous nature of what is basically realspace manifestation of a God. Its lame when you basically know what nurgle/tzeentch look like.
Dehumanize/de-anthropomorphize the Chaos Gods in fluff. Already kinda done with Aetheric Dominions but still.
Since nothing exists in a pure narrative vacuum, comewhat expand on other big Warp-entities, like Gork/Mork, Hivemind, etc. and for the love of god do something with the C'tan they're miserable and embarrassing as a concept that deserves its own post.
Just a personal touch, but cut it out with the time shenanigans, GW can't write that well to save their lives. Make parts of daemon fluff slightly more "mundane" because approaching them from standpoint of paradoxal/nonlinear writing has - at least IMO - failed.
That'd be a good start because we obviously can't just erase daemons altogether, even if that would've been a decent alternative.
