I will put this plainly:
The kinds of people who would "call someone out for it", are the kinds of people that I don't give a fuck about. They have ZERO power over me, they can throw a fit all they like. I will laugh at them alongside the people who also - rightfully - see it as fucking stupid.
And you know why you don't have any power? Because you do shit like this. It comes across as "evil pretending to be good" on the same level as satanic panic fundie christians and imams having a meltie over D&D and pokemon in the 80s and 90s, but run through a "totally not like my parents we are all RESPECTFUL and inclusive guyz" post-y2k filter. You alienated enough people with this contradictory, nagging behavior and your insistence on trying to prove how moral you are to yourselves and each other, that there are now significant amounts of people who - while differing individually - are united solely though the fact that we think you people are gay retards.
