This game is always compared to Nier: A for very obvious reasons, and that game has one of the most memorable stories in ages. Yes, the philosophical implications in the game are sophomoric at best, but the emotional journey the game takes you on is really fucking heavy and stays with you for life if it resonates with you. I really love that game and SB is a great homage to it, but it doesn't come close. They weren't trying to make a deep story this time, but hopefully the next one is a little less predictable
