For sure your mileage may vary and you might find using the ring to be the cats pajamas. And I will give you that adjusting for wind drift with right left hold offs is better than a plain dot in space.but it’s still not ideal and far from the correct tool for the job ie the tallest midget is still short. if you are ranging a target that is not actively shooting at you it is a poor ranging tool and you have the time to use another option provided you have another option,
If your target is shooting at you or you are under a time crunch you’re still going to use your battle zero and hold center mass anyway so who the fuck cares your not looking long enough to call splash
