I Wanna Be The Guy managed to get a passionate subcommunity fo spiritual fangames like that. It'd be cool if there was some general standard to how you could build a Klonoa-like game, and just let people run wild in any direction they wanted with those mechanics. Simple games always have the biggest potential for level design.

Given how all discussion in threads has died and been replaced by spam from diaperniggers and furfags should be telling enough that these games don't have enough substance. Any decent game should generate enough autism for fans to talk in circles forever about any retarded detail, but the best people can muster is ranking a mainline game, and very occasionally a spinoff.
tl;dr: You need to let go anon. You said goodbye to Klonoa years ago, but that doesn't mean he's coming back.
