to be fair i hated it a lot more before chapter 4 happened and made it feel a lot more natural, but it's still reeking a bit of some of the same problems; mostly just... feeling super forced, they barely know each other at all, ESPECIALLY on noelle's end it feels like an overwhelmingly overkill puppylove crush with no substance, and what little substance is DOES have is "I miss my dead siser" which is kinda fucked up?

That being said, again, ch4 helped a lot, but it's still kind of weird. As a guy, for whatever reason, I can be a lot more easily 'convinced' or 'charmed' of guy x guy stuff (like the RG's or asgore/rudy) than I can girl x girl stuff (alphys x undyne is really similar to noelle x susie too and felt pretty forced). Also while I do think Toby generally writes the lgbt shit well and makes it exist in a way that doesn't really bother me even if it's not exactly "my thing", the fact he makes sure every single positive ship is gay and negative ship / destroyed ship is straight kinda fucks with me, like he's trying a little bit *too* hard to appeal to that audience and not enough to appeal to anyone outside that audience at least when it comes to romance.

Also the fact Berdly literally did nothing wrong but be a bit of a dweeb but was written and presented in just such a way that SO MUCH of the community and so many people I watch playing the game just DESPISE him, when most players, honestly probably including Toby himself despite what he may want to think, are probably more similar to him than any character, even if a lot of us are older and have a bit more social awareness than that... I dunno. Feels very 'anti straight guy' for no real reason or gain, more just to get more tumblrina bonus points like he's trying to court one, same shit that happened with Hussie that literally ruined Homestuck in its later stages.
