This sounds like wishful thinking. You know what else Sony owns? Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter and Sly Cooper. What are the states of these franchises? Soulless crap or inactivity, they are more dead on a fandom level than Crash or Spyro is. Sure they were less popular but nothing was stopping Sony from trying to have them compete with or even retain their own niche in the gaming market.
