This seems likely, the knight in general may be its own brand of amalgamate considering the similarities that can be found with it and other characters. Dess is probably the main source of the Knight but it's not like she's actually running around in person (as far as we know). Considering what we learned about how Dark Worlds and their residents are influenced by Lightner's perception/value placed on objects, maybe it's going to be the same situation projected onto a individual?
