Tisas 1911's are relatively inexpensive but still very much Philippine manufactured. Incidentally, the first ever pistol I owned was one too but under the Khar Arms brand and something like $800. One of the factory magazines was fucked and the extractor slapped me with brass over and over. Wasn't the only "replica" from their subsidiary [Auto Ordnance] that I used: one of the guys from work I went shooting with had a Thompson.
