Anon who was asking about monitors

I got the Asus ROG XG27ACS after advice here (thankful for the help anons)
It's good. Honestly idk what I expected, but I kind of thought it'd be miles ahead of other screens I've used but it isn't really.
I've never had a good monitor and I've been using some no name brand portable monitors a while and thought it'd be a substantial upgrade. Maybe the portable monitors are just better than I thought but it's kinda comparable.

Anyway, if I was wanting to go the next step up in Monitors from the Asus, where would I be looking? Minileds? Are all minileds at budget prices $200-$300 just going to be shit or are there some that will work well with consoles and PC?

Unfortunately it's just priced enough to the point of pushing it out of my price range.

The ROG is £40/$55 more than the AOC, do you think it's worth it anons?
It's not a screen I'll be using all the time, so I didn't want to spend too much. It's moreso for convenience but I will play vidya on it I'm sure
