Stimulus checks were and continue to be a drop in the bucket compared to the alternatives of market slumps and bailing out the wealthy - if you seriously think there's anywhere for this system to go but into hyper inflation you're dead fucking wrong, there is no way to recover from the current debt crisis without a collapse and it's not going to come from giving the poorest Americans some spending money to postpone said collapse.
