after posting this I really do think that I gotta reread Trigun sometime (hope anons here do a storytime). It really constantly challenges Vash's pacifism values in a completely fictional setting not like the European hisotrical setting we are seeing here, there were some farmers and shit questioning Vash about why he forgive the bandits who raped and killed his daughter during the beginning of Maximum I remember. The new anime season 2 is probably gonna be completely dogshit though
