I finally defeated the Knight without the Mantle. I was able to beat it in one try with it on, so I figured: "Eh, can't be that bad..." A few hours of grinding later and bam. Burned through all my items, but the whole team with still standing.

My brain is fried and I don't think I'll ever do that again. kek.
