>Wackymodder admitted he browses and argues in Seed threads
Well yeah he used to openly post here back in like 2014/5. He admitted he has autism too as if it wasn't obvious. IIRC the thread was about his ''fixed'' Destiny.

>saber clashes
Japanese Youtubers also say they don't clash. I can't find the exact video but I'm pretty sure it was this guy https://www.youtube.com/@Gamore that said "Since beam sabers can't clash in SEED universe, pilots are trained to catch blades with their shields instead" something like that. If I dig up the exact video before this thread archives I'll link it. IIRC it was something about Impulse.
And it's true, even they "clash" it's usually for a single frame and the big clashes instead are almost always saber-to-shield like >>23393792 https://youtu.be/1Zonk--fzNQ?t=67 or shield to shield like Legend versus SF https://youtu.be/2W265ItpKMo?t=229

They even reanimated some of the scenes in the remaster where beams clashed into beams being parried by shields like pic related.

They don't clash. If they did we'd have some epic clash scenes like so many other Gundam series. Instead every skirmish that ends in a frame/stand-off is with shields against sabers.

>You're definitely wrong about this.
And now we're reduced to "nuh uh". Nice.
Athrun always uses his shield to block Arondight. Shinn always uses his shield to block other sabers. This is the case from the start of the show in fact, with Gaia using its shield to block an Excalibur.
>The beam path is going the same way the sword is facing.
Do you lack spatial reasoning skills? If Justice swings up to its left, then that's up to Destiny's right. Or do you think that single transitional frame you screencapped meant anything?

But that's correct. It's to give shields more of a purpose in battle than to just be effortlessly destroyed the instant a beam saber comes out.
