"Flawed" implies that if only we could unlock "true" human potential, that all our problems would dissapear. And usually the argument is made that if we removed some "anomaly" or "impurity" from our social environment (e.g. racism, sexism, etc) this true, collaborative human nature would naturally emerge. Its a silly, russeou-/lockean assertion.
In reality humans are simply creatures of acquisition, because negentropy is the precondition for complexity, aka continued human life. Conflict emerges when negotiation (aka TRADE) for acquisition between two competing parties is insufficient to satisfy their needs/desires. This conflict, or violence if you would like to call it that, can express overtly as FORCE, or covertly, socially as SEDUCTION.
In fact, the linguistic argumentation you are currently engaging in that this very moment is in and of itself that exact form of social warfare (SEDUCTION), which carries the inherent and express intent of achieving your desired end state of ACQUISITION, aka opportunities, wealth, rights, privledges, etc.
