>How hard is VF5 to learn?
Virtua Fighter is easy to learn, difficult to understand. The game only has three buttons: punch, kick, guard, with every other button you map being a combination of Punch + Kick or Kick + Guard depending on what you feel you need. Where things get rough is understand your character and how they interact with other characters. It's one of the few fighting games where weight is actually a factor in how you approach certain match and you can't just happy go lucky launch someone like you would in Tekken. A number of characters have stance changes, some have counters or unique ways to shift their positioning so you'll whiff attacks even when normally they'd be dead on, there's numerous variables at play in every match.
Having said all that, it's arguably my favorite 3D fighting game series, and a lot of it has to do with the fact that everything HURTS. There is almost no damage scaling in VF, if it's there at all. When you get hit with something it's going to take chunks of your life away and the round will be over before you know it.

Fuck no. Everybody that was happy about 5's (yet again revival) bailed, and the Tekken crowd that threated to leave because of season 2's bullshit went back to fucking Tekken because they realized that VF and Tekken are leagues different from each other in every way. It's why I'm glad it's releasing on newer consoles with crossplay, to get some more blood in the ocean and off their fucking PS4s.
