I can see the confusion.
My argument can seem a little semantics heavy, but I understand why you feel that way. It makes you feel so many things. It creates unique moments that tell insane individual stories you only experience in your play through. The music, the art style, the cut scenes.
Breath of the wild is an art galary. It lets you loose with a brush of your own and lets you paint on the walls next to the paintings. It lets the band play the right songs for the right mood.
It is an experience.
And experience is not art.
That does not make it less than art.
Frankly a lot of "art" is overhyped overrated dog shit.
But an experience cannot get away with saying they are art and delivering a banana taped to a wall. It must deliver something memorable worth paying a price to be experience.
I hope you see I am not trying to deminish what you cherish by pointing out that it is not art.
