Even as someone who liked anime I never liked Teen Titan's attempt to be ANIME like. It was always the most annoying aspects played up to 11. "LOL WE HAVE ANGER VEINS AND OUR HEADS GET BIG AS WE YELL!" If I were to make a list of things I liked about anime that stuff wouldn't make the cut.

It felt more like the super hero sci fi stuff it should be. Ah Shadow the Superman. You weren't near the edge lord you looked like. Shame it never really caught on enough to get a third season. Another show they essentially set up to die.
