The only thing I find weird is why the doctor or the kid don't kill the alpha after sedating him. I get that he's needed plot-wise, but there's no in universe explanation
Also, why doesn't the father try to find his kid and his wife after they run away?
Other than that I still find the movie enjoyable. I prefer the first half of it, but the second half is also good in its own way, and the last scene is a bit weird but not completely off-putting like some are saying
