with the right card choice you can make that $600 into $30 without much loss in power. Most card games magic included have a massive gap between card prices. You get staple cards that cost between $15-$80 a piece and slightly less optimal versions of those cards that cost $0.12. Plus with casual commander if you used all the expensive cards people would bitch about you being overpowered and ruining the experience so you'd end up cutting the money cards for random jank anyway.
