I can't exactly pinpoint the worst movie I have ever watched since I would have to traverse my memory and comb over small details of shit ass movies I have watched. The simple reality is that the actual worst movies I've seen I don't remember because they were boring, which is the worst thing a movie can possibly be.
However, to answer your question in the traditional manner, I can point directly to the worst blockbuster movie I have ever watched easily, and that is Suicide Squad 2016 (fucking ex-gf took me to see it).
As soon as I saw the font, telling me where the group was locked up, in black text over a dark green grass and a dark mud filter, then proceeding afterwards to have some of the most jarring editing I have ever witnessed in a movie, I fucking just KNEW I was going to be watching an absolute pile of SHIT. Literally every second of that movie has at least 3 active things wrong with it.
I still remember I was actively waiting for a moment to show me why the govt needed to use the Suicide Squad so badly, cause the whole time their abilities were completely worthless. Finally there's a part where they're like "the only way to get to the place we need to go is underwater!" and I'm thinking "Okay yes Killer Croc, the only one that can breathe underwater" and it cuts to a shot of Killer Croc swimming underwater. Then the camera pulls back and reveals two soldiers in scuba gear swimming next to him. Just unbelievable. And at the end I'm pretty sure they use a bomb to defeat the CGI flaming skeleton bad guy after getting rid of CGI Cara Delevingne.
but it was all worth it for this absolute kino of a gem
