People keep saying this but Noelle's a catastrophe. She can't confront her mother, she can't help her father, she's shit scared of absolutely everything and needs to be catered to because she's scared of just about everything, her "love" for Susie is either projective or some fucked up fetish for a persona that Susie doesn't even have, and she's woefully unaware of basically anything even in a land of fantasy.
She is terrified even in a world of imagination where she can use ice magic. She is so shit scared she's near useless. She's so coddled, such a coward, she's basically babysat by Kris. No, Noelle needs something like this to happen, and her happiness is frankly useless because she's miserable regardless with her mom, with her dad, with her sister, with her everything. At the very least she gains some measure of confidence and becomes a stronger, more assured person with Snowgrave where she can stop shlicking herself to the pretend image of her missing sister while also wanting to kiss Kris after a "horrid nightmare".
Noelle won't grow naturally. She needs a push, and she's this malleable because she was always trending to this. Susie isn't someone who we'd be able to Snowgrave ever.
