God, no, enough with the fucking mainland shit, dinosaurs in... le CITY already jumped the gun and outwore its welcome with TLW and Jurassic World's bullshit already proved that there's nothing there to explore.
The only positive aspect of Rebirth is that it correctly shifts the focus back to an island jungle setting, where humans are on the dinosaur's turf and have to play by their rules in order to survive.
Where they fucked up is continuing to push this idea that people are tired of dinosaurs and we need mutants and hybrids and action heroes to up the ante, which is fucking retarded and has never been the case.
Literally, just make scary scenarios where the dinosaurs are a threat and regular people can and will die. And literally all you have to do is look to the novels and the JP trilogy to understand what that entails.
Though, it's best if this series just goes away. They've already fucked up in major ways by fumbling concepts that should've been a slam dunk in such a way that people aren't experiencing dinosaur fatigue, but Jurassic World fatigue and SHITTY FUCKING WRITERS fatigue. This shit is a joke and I hate these fucking hacks for ruining something I've loved so much.
