I'm not surprised that Takumi/Tsubasa is unpopular. Almost all of Takumi's popular ships have something that makes them interesting. With Nozomi, there's the whole Karua thing; Hiruko has the loops; Darumi has Retsnom; Eito is the rival; V'ehxness is the enemy commander, and her route shows how Takumi is the only person she can see as an equal, etc. Even Eva has the fact that she's an enemy and that Takumi can choose her over the SDU, plus the comical idea that she's the only one who gets pregnant. Tsubasa, on the other hand, really has nothing that makes her interesting. Her romance with Takumi in both routes where it happens is pretty simple and boils down to Tsubasa finding Takumi attractive because of his leadership and kind personality
