So, You guys want more stuff like Modern Pokémon? More barebones "hd" ports, too?
The lack of talented designers and the homogenization of sterile ideas is what has been hurting Nintendo games I feel. it's like a great film Director and Actors stuck a shitty script, or vice versa.
Majora's Mask and Smash Melee are notorious for their short dev time, but the sheer condensed talents behind the styles, direction, feel, etc for those games have resulted in unique and timeless cult classics.
Can modern Nintendo pull off something like that again?
Think of the difference between OoT to Majora, and then BotW to TotK. Games in a semi-similar situation.
OoT and Majora are extremely distinct in what they set to accomplish in their theming, etc, which made Majora way more than just a simple sequel. Can you say the same for BotW & TotK?

Id like to preface that i love this game, favorite ww2 game period, but holy HELL is conquest the least fun thing ive ever done.
>carefully creeping up on enemy
>taking them out one by one
>nigh unkillable bomber that can change direction mid flight and self-spot units that i dont have access to kills my entire rear line
>defending town
>same bomber kills basically all the allied field guns
>find workshop mod to remove bomber
>start new campaign as finland
>advance tank on first level with infantry support
>all infantry die in seconds while behind cover
>tank dies
>SIXTEEN ENEMY AT RIFLE GRENADE TROOPS were in that forest tee hee!
>restart campaign
>entire enemy force is AT rifle grenades AGAIN
Would it REALLY be so hard to just force the AI to spawn remotely realistic unit compositions???? I CAN beat rifle greande spam if i really try but i dont want to, thats not the WW2 fantasy at all.

>enemy spawns in more arty mid mission lmao, bombards point
>move on to next point
>enemy spawns in new tank mid mission behind my advance, takes out my tank
