I pity anyone who actually has a brain in this digital day and age.
If you know how people behave and you know about mannerisms you know how fucking done the guy is.
Not wanting to "yuck anyone" is an indirect yet ironical observation and admission of how things are now, and if you happens to watch other youtubers who "dare" criticize anything or make video essays, they have to constantly remind the people how they actually like the game and how they love it, or else they will get a bunch of autistic spergs and looney troons trying to cancel them out of existence for making them feel heckin invalid for liking the thing they're criticizing and not glazing it, while of course not using the "correct language" i.e. self-censoring yourself and not using business-like jargon to embellish criticism, thus defeating the whole point.
Not to mention the absolute illiteracy of the average people now that any words they don't know makes them mad because it makes them feel stupid.
But i might be preaching to the choir at this point.
Also a lot of MTG content creators are on wotc payroll, so good luck trying to convey a truth with smothering it with a lie when the rest of your peers are paid to maintain lies.

Yes, that's what you do yourself as a "content creator".
People don't want to think because god forbid they might develop sentience; they just want to coomsoom and dish out hollow praise for the sake of receiving positive attention themselves and "don't anyone dare be heckin toxic!!".
And when the grass has been devoured and the pasture covered in shit, they'll just move to another place and repeat the same process.
