The Naya Yuna deck I’m running plays too much removal and life gain for mice to deal with. Think I have a 90 percent win rate against it. Decent match up with Overlords as well. It seems to me that Magic has become a MLM scheme, with "local game stores" rising in small towns, operating for a couple years or three until all the money from players has dried up, then going out of business. Then the players who have closets full of boxed merchandise try to resell that on the open market to other suckers, but it all ends up going for a massive discount boxed lot eventually.

The people who play Magic for fun and not as a way to make money just print their cards at the local library/print shop or order from MPC.

It's worth noting, I think, that the business model Hasbro has with LGS is very similar to a MLM, in that the store buys the product from Hasbro, rather than just charges Hasbro for shelf space and takes a percentage of profits like a proper modern retailer like Wal-mart does.

13 is a heavily flawed game with the first 6 hours as incredibly linear. It doesnt help that the characters are completely unlikeable outside of Sazh. It becomes a pseudo-open world game and even then it still sucks.

XIII-2 fixes a lot of things from the 1st game, with an interesting villain but also an equally uninteresting duo protagonist. Combat is exponentially better

Lightning Returns is unironically an underappreciated gem but I cant blame anyone for dismissing it. Lightning is still unlikeable BUT its one of the very few games that managed to do a Majora's Mask type of formula. Exploring is fun, and the combat is actually really satisfying. A favorable interaction with another player in a FFA game should result in you gaining some kind of advantage over the other players(chips in poker, weapons in a battle royale, points or resources in most other board games), but all interaction in commander is detrimental and magic is a game built on direct interaction. The winner in most balanced commander games, including cedh, is basically just the player the other 3 decided not to point their interaction at.

With greeters in play playing quina triggers greeters to make a treasure token which creates a creature with the chef which then triggers gala greeters again. I tried getting back into commander recently because I'm back in my hometown, I was kinda interested in getting back into the game in general because of some upcoming sets, and my sister and her boyfriend apparently play it a lot. I upgraded my main deck and bought a budget Eluge deck, because it seemed like fun, but they were still "bracket 2", whatever that means (They don't use any "gamechangers"?). Pretty much every game I played against their "bracket 3" decks, I'd cast one or two boardwipes and the entire group would still get blown out turn 7-10 by someone's combo bullshit. Not sure if that's typical for that meta bracket or not, but it's completely fucking unbearable.

I only really liked commander because the pub lobby environment made it easy to converse with other nerds, like I'm playing any other card game. If I wanted to get blown out by overpowered combos, I'd just play 60-card. Boros Aggro ft Lightning, Army of One and Opera Song, then there's BR Black Mages with Kuja. Yuna Sagas is still there as well, Saga recursion is really strong even if its just FF cards

Cutter is the 3rd most played deck in Legacy behind UB Reanimator and UB Tempo, both Bowmasters decks. Bowmaster is basically half the format at this point.

The card that counters Cutter is almost half the format and Cutter is still the 3rd top deck in spite of that. This is likely because cutter has a fucking retarded winrate against other lists, something like 65% "drawn in hand" wr against non-Bowmasters, allowing it to prey on the entire rest of the meta and clean sweep every situation where it doesn't encounter UB Tempo/Reanimator.

Replenish, Stiflenought, Sligh, Oath decks & Survival decks are all top tier-1 and the strongest decks in the format.
Then you have other extremely strong decks such as Goblins, Elves, Terrageddon, UW control (landstill), BW Control, Mono Black Control, Mono Blue Control, Enchantress and Tinker Fling.
That is to say though, even decks that have currently fallen off the meta such as Reanimator, Mono Blue Storm, UG Madness and Mono Black aggro can still win against the top tier-1 decks.
And also there are new decks rising in popularity such as Broccoli Soup, RG aggro (Zoo) and Aluren. Stasis also seems to be making a strong comeback given recent tournaments.

I'd like to play Survival/Elves but it's actually Middle School here so Replenish/Stiflenought/Landstill seem to have been pushed above the rest of the format (and Goblins/Sligh do alright vs blue so they're popular too).
Stasis with FoW would be great too but man, I don't want the locals to hate me.
Grim Monolith and Land Tax are other cards that are legal here and not in Premodern but Tinker and Parfait don't see much play despite that. I suspect those archetypes could be busted as well.

Since play booster boxes suddenly shrinkflated, I wanted to know, is it possible for me to run a 6 man sealed-draft event with just 30 14-card play boosters?

The other "extremely strong" decks they listed are all considered tier 1 decks except B Control and Tinker Fling which are meme decks which only did well at tournaments recently due to being positioned well and nobody giving a fuck to sideboard for them.
Reanimator and Mono B Aggro have never been "on-meta" so can't have fallen off. Broccoli Soup, RG Zoo, and Aluren have always been bad decks but have devoted players.

Force of Will is unlikely to be a back breaker in Middle School for the same reason blue decks have been losing dominance in PM. There have been advances in sideboarding for the format and a much greater focus on sideboarding for blue match ups which have been boogeymen of the format for some time now. Carpet of Flowers accelerates against and plays around Parallax Tide. Hidden Gibbons is a hyper efficient threat turned on by any blue deck. Xantid Swarm and Defense Grid are must-answers for blue decks that turns off their most powerful interaction and are ridiculously good for combo decks. This is why shit-ass bitch retard Tinker Fling is back again, bluefagz got caught with their pants down by Xantid Swarm jamming up the Gush Foil package. If Tinker Fling gets any traction at all it will get smacked down again with E Plague, Cursed Totem, and Null Rod. Don't fall for that shitty meme deck, it has only done well because people disregarded it and too many retards became addicted to free counterspells.
