If your fantasy story makes it so that magic is a cheap easy thing that literally anyone can access with a flick of the wrist, that's a shite story, it's why Harry Potter has always been garbage because they reduced wizardly- something that was typically associated with old men who worked their whole life to study an esoteric craft known by few- into some genetic fairy magic bullshit that any ol kid can learn as easy as a card trick
