Just makes it hard to tell exactly what just happened considering Chara did proclaim themselves as "Demon", so its mostly player interpretation. I also just go with it being weird demon goop (licorice? buttercups? fucking 100% super cocoa????). Also reminder that Chara's middle strip is the same color as their face in the scene.

Most players, fortunately, haven't seen a decomposing corpse up close to know what that might look like. Also at the point and time I just figured Chara was manifesting more as spirit since they had enough LOVE, not reanimating their corpse.
