That's a huge part of why I think the franchise needs a 5 year break to reassess itself and settle on 2 or 3 continuities–max–to tell stories about going forward. Though that would really be more like 3 years to reassess and reevaluate, then the remaining time to actually start production on whatever their next project is. A big Dragon Ball comeback in 2030 with a clear and definitive style & direction would be KINO. Bumbling forward with more of the same for the sake of maintaining momentum is just gonna get us more goofy villains and transformations, and a wonkier timeline.
