What if someone (not me) made a Blame! game.
But instead of being a walking simulator or action game.
You play as this AI with limited access to Netsphere code as you try to make pockets of humans civilisations survive in the City.
A sort of inverse city builder where you need to make sure the rampants Builders don't choke your little buddies out by converting valuable nutrient-producing rooms into just more staircases, but no matter what you do, you can't stop them from actually building, you just steer their attention to where they'll do less damage.
And because the City is so big your main objective would be to find and secure safe paths for your people, making them link up between settlements, pool resources, or give them escape routes in case Silicon Life raiders, or Safeguards jannies, or just any of the other myriad of the danger of the City get to them
Imagine Factorio but the spaghetti builds itself and you still need to make defense againsh the bugs and get it to build you a spaceship.
Could even include some FPS moments where you take control of a regular machine body to physically place beacons around or accomplish importants tasks, but you're dependant on builders to make you the actual body you use to walk around and them spawning you 30 minutes away from your target with half of a functioning jetpack is all you can pray for.
