I personally did. If you like BotW, Odyssey, like power fantasies, like 3D action platformers in general where you explore a cool world and interact with the environment around you, you will like this game. The game isn't built around platforming challenges outside of some sublevels, but instead it's more about the physics-based interactions and how DK exploits the world around him with all the crazy shit the game throws at you're where you exploring both vertically and deep underground. Just look at the post above you for an example of the good movement mechanics. Banana gems function more like tangible rewards that allow you to upgrade yourself to give you more health or access to new and different abilities. They don't exist to just block your progression from level to level, in fact I think they are completely optional but I haven't finished the game yet so I wouldn't don't know if that's true. There's a surprising amount of RPG/adventure-elements but I never felt like this was bogging the game and instead was doing the opposite. DK is so strong a simple slap on the ground is able to blow away soft terrain.
