Fiction is a giant wheel of ideas that you can spin to make something. New ideas will rise when new concepts also take flight and even those can be the same idea again with a different coat of paint. What's more interesting to me is those creators that take what they enjoy and solely concentrate on the idea until it is a strong flavor that cannot be gotten anywhere else like Giger and Oshima
