I want to keep her attackerโs identity a secret because she never figured out who it was. I donโt have anything set in stone for her after she went into hiding, as I believe leaving it more open-ended leaves more storytelling opportunities with her. Thatโs why I said one could be where she becomes an assassin and is being targeted again, hence your drawing.

Why did the riders games flop so hard? The first one kind of teaches you fuck all so I get that, but they went out of their way in the sequel to correct that.

The solution would be to frame his guardianship around ALL of the Emeralds in some way, but Sonic Adventure & Sonic Rush both frame the Chaos Emeralds as Sonic's jurisdiction specifically, with Knuckles directly stating and acknowledging that in both games.

I know here a lot anons hate archie, but that book had 3 characters that had good reasons to be dicks: tails parents and specially one that was named Hamlin pig.
That guy had actual reasons to hate sonic, and be a hardass that liked to do things by the book and rules.
That guy was frustrated, because he was trained to be a soldier and barely saw action. He joined the council because the kingdom had actual rules to follow, while he was just another member of a group of seven people + the king.
He hated sonic because he hates how sonic just relied on brute force without thinking his actions could have consequences, while ignoring the actual rules of the kingdom he tried to protect.
With lanolin, is differently because she was just a newbie who started to boss around people that had actual time and action in a war, she wanted to follow rules but in the end she blew it with how she tried to deal with situations.
Is pretty clear abt had way more crude plans for her looking at his Twitter posts, about her family problems, eggman pstd, her bad character, and how she saw sonic as problematic as eggman for her own reasons, at the point she had real actual anger issues, dealing with actual anger madness but in the end none of that info got into the actual comic.
Maybe if she was higher in the restoration rank I would believe it. But in the end she was just a newbie, so her story and character personality never panned out. To he honest, I liked her more when she was just a civil being so done because she was always in the middle of sonic shenanigans, if she would have stayed like that, maybe she could have been a better character when she was promoted as a main character.
