it's not about cars, getting rid of the car will change nothing because thats not the real reason they built the infrastructure like this. framing this as a car vs no-car debate is just a retarded distraction from the real issue. antihuman infrastructure where strict zoning prevents you from having a place to find and meet your neighbours. they want you to have to drive everywhere to designated zones to feed big chain corporations over small business. they want you atomized and alone, even when you go out somewhere you had to drive and be surrounded by other people who drove in from all over and you won't recognize anyone at the pub or cafe or business you're frequenting because nobody lives near there. you won't walk into a pub and recognize the guy across the street and get waved over for a conversation as your ancestors did for thousands of years. they don't want you socializing in person with your neighbours. they want you atomized and alone so they can put you in a little information bubble they control where they can feed you propaganda.

the reason people are so extremist these days, is because they never actually met their trump supporting neighbour to have a chat in a local cafe. so all they know is what their social media bubble or the tv tells them. causing people to have unrealistic and strawman ideas of what "the other side" is actually about.

our social skills are garbage, we can't meet our neighbours and organize any local resistance against anything. this is by design and it was blamed on the car. their proposed solution once you recognize the problems is their trap called 15 minute cities where they will ban you from owning a car so they can prevent your freedom of movement and then they will keep you tracked at all times so they can tax you when you step outside your designated 15 minute zone. a totalitarian nightmare they will sleepwalk us into while we debate cars vs nocars like absolute retards.
