As someone who actually enjoys drawing and the creative process, the image generating ai's just seem worthless to me. What experimentation I did with them just produced lackluster results in my attempts to get them to depict my ideas (probably because the stuff I draw is almost all shit I draw from my imagination rather than fanart or generic anime slop etc) so I quickly just came to the realization that it is just more enjoyable as well as genuinely just easier for me to draw stuff myself than try to get the image generators produce even approximations of what I want.

There is of course some novelty in all of these image generators and how quickly they have advanced but I don't see myself ever using them as anything other than maybe making some retarded half baked meme images at best if even that. My experimentations with them just left me with the conclusion of "kinda cool, but pointless for me."

I enjoy drawing as an act in itself so AI shit does not offer me anything on that front. Nor can AI really even produce the shit I want because the stuff I draw is not generic anime gooner slop etc stuff the AI's are trained on. If I wanted AI shit to start replicating my own stuff I'd have to train them myself which I see zero point in doing given that I can just draw myself.
