He HAS to have a happy ending, he must. All of the effort we can spend into helping Ralsei be himself, all of the growth that's been happening, he's already such a tragic character.
He's convinced himself he doesn't deserve to have anything, even though he's the most compassionate person in the entire game. He NEEDS, he DESERVES an ending to his story that makes him happy. And when that happens, I will cry. I will cry tears for him, and for myself, for seeing so much of myself in his character.
But it'll be a good cry.

I genuinely had to stop when I saw his room. It was too much.
The only thing I thought was, "what do you mean you don't deserve anything? What do you mean?" It hurt so much.
I already saw a lot of myself in Kris when I saw his bare side of the room next to Asriel's, but seeing that taken to such an extreme with Ralsei cut deeper than just the bone.
