Is there a recommended tutorial video or doc covering the absolute basics for retards of normal Magic and Commander?
Hate to ask to be spoonfed, but to make a long story short; I got a friend that's been down lately and he was telling me about him going to a local place to play casually with some fellas. He's a great guy so I thought I'd surprise him next week and maybe buy one of those constructed FF decks I think they have at the store and do a few rounds with him if it's not horrifying to figure out for a total novice.

Started Super Robot Wars A Portable recently, with a fan patch to make it less difficult. A Portable is a port, but they edited a lot of enemy stat values without changing player stat values. It ends up having very few viable units and such because of that. Hence the patch. It's honestly still more challenging than anything since at least VTX.

Been watching the original Macross. It's bretty gud so far, probably going to keep going with the rest of the shows

Pretty good. Nothing to really complain about except that I'm tired of waiting for the next Rimworld expansion (of course, I run Combat Extended, so the wait will be way longer anyway...) and Super Robot Wars Y.
