Where Hades 1 was about rushing about at incredibly high speeds tearing everything apart, 2 is more deliberate while dialing up the levels of havoc. It's an adjustment at first and it feels worse until it sort of clicks. Then after that happens, there's far more systems and upgrades in-play to wrap the head around. The music continues to be pretty great, though it definitely peaks with the Sirens boss tracks.

Actually been in a Sonic mood for the first time since Mania Plus. Played through Rush, Colors, and Shadow Generations for the first time. They were mostly good but I'm a little mixed on Rush. The levels were fun but the bosses were annoying as hell to fight. Currently playing Frontiers it's pretty meh so far. Lot of busywork just to progress the story.

Not bad. Found out that Alex Hirsch (guy behind Gravity Falls) was an executive producer. It feels like Gravity Falls but with more world building yet less of a story. I'm only 6 episodes in. Been having a SHITTY week at work. Mega overtime and people bitching to me to do other people's jobs. Coworker who's been paying me extra almost got fired for un related reasons. Lasts night, at least I got to go home with peace of mind and sleep soundly. Hoping I get some job interviews I applied for months ago since I passed the drug tests. I want out of my current job but it's the only thing keeping me floating and paying the bills. So far? It's alright. I like my X device a bit more, feels like there's more interactivity and risk involved in keeping things going. The color screen, rechargeable battery, and backgrounds are nice QoL aspects though, and I do like the novelty of it being almost entirely Monster Hunter monsters.

I'm new to vpets as well. I was really into them back in the 90's when they were first getting big, and in the past few months I got back into them. I like the Color devices a lot because I can pause them. I know that is somewhat against the spirit of the devices, but it's what works for me. I have one of the Godzilla Digimon Color devices pre-ordered as well, looking forward to that. Most friends already do weed and vapes, nothing new. Don't like energy drinks and zyns seem lame. Too much of a penny pincher to consistently buy alcohol and I am really afraid of ever being in the position of drunk driving so drinking has now become a avoidance unless I am 100% sure I am not driving anywhere. Started Super Robot Wars A Portable recently, with a fan patch to make it less difficult. A Portable is a port, but they edited a lot of enemy stat values without changing player stat values. It ends up having very few viable units and such because of that. Hence the patch. It's honestly still more challenging than anything since at least VTX.

The entire premise seems like it runs counter to Watanabe's usual episodic way of doing shows, so makes sense.
Bebop was largely just about the gang hanging around with occasional background talks of Spike's past and Vicious, whereas Lazarus opens up with a pressing world-ending matter that needs to get solved.
A shame - I may still watch it just for the fights and animation but I'm going in with tempered expectations

Okay, kinda burned out on my game project, I've been stuck on brainstorming and mechanical development, I think I need to start on the art part of the project so I still make progress on the game but take a break from the game itself.
Self-hosted Planka for project management too, was pretty fun if a bit annoying, found out after the deployment that if you deploy a service that has a postgresDB with a set of credentials, but modifiy credentials to something else and re-deploy it, it will create another set of tables for that same instance but in the app it'll be a completely different environment? I have no idea, I had two users who were unable to see eachother, and both were root at the same time, so my only conclusion was that, either way, fixed it by removing everything and re-deploying it correctly the first time.
Either way, comfy times abound, pizza, coke, sekiro, some work being done, rain outside, all good.

Understandle, part of SRW IS using your favorite robots (even if i think APs cast to be fairly dull). But i still encourage you try it without the patch. It's certainly a unique experience as far as SRPGs go. EWAC units truly become the second coming of christ.

It's fine, you get used to it. Just gotta keep yourselves busy. I like to go running first thing in the morning, then taking care of the animals. Most of my morning is spent tinkering on projects at my work bench while I keep an eye on the stockmarket and listen to music. In the afternoons I clean the house, cook dinner, and listen to music. The big thing to remember is to constantly stay busy and distracted so reality doesn't crush you under the immense weight of awareness of death. Think like a shark, if you stop moving you will die. So yeah, just keep yourself busy all the time and never ever give yourself a chance to stop and think and your life won't be completely miserable.

I have a degree, I am doing a post graduate course but I simply fucking suck at what I do and I can barely hold a job. Shit I am currently jobless and the market fucking sucks right now, they are not even calling for interviews.

Ive done nothing but play video games and watch anime since 2019 and I feel like I can no longer take it. Like physically it hurts my eyes to stare at screens all day, my skin crawls being in the same room for so long, but I have nothing else.
