I swear I'm not autistic and after thinking about it for a minute as soon as I saw this thread and that memory emerged I would say that my rationale was that I simply didn't want to get attached, like I already had a busy schedule and other things to think about and this is an extra time and energy investment we are talking about even he was a cool chill dude

I got into yakuza 0 expecting free roam japanaese gta beat em up essentially and I got a soap opera with cutscenes every 5 seconds
I still liked the beat em up sections tho, I will keep playing other games in the series so I will play kiwami 1 next
