Farscape falls apart very quickly. I revisited it recently and it doesn't hold up that well, the deeper into it you get, the worse it is. Stargate starts out weak but gets good by the end of the first season, and stays good up until the end of the Anubis storyline. Then you can jump to Atlantis, which also starts weak, but gets better and better for the five seasons that it was on. Also, you should skip Farscape and move to the superior sci-fi show: Lexx.
