The recent explosion of trannies is anything but steady. It's not a steady rise through decades, instead it's massive uptick beginning in late 2010s and perhaps peaking during covid. If you were in nerdier communities in that period you would see half of community becoming "lesbian" out of a sudden heh. For example you never saw this massive of a uptick of gays after gay marriage passed and being gay became more acceptable, instead the % of gay population is about the same since the 80s!

Modern transgenderism is very clearly a fad targeting lonely, nerdy and very often autistic young males who ironically have close to no feminine interests or characteristics. That's how you see trannies massively overrepresented in nerdy subjects like strategy games, obscure history, programming, radical politics, etc., that again ironically have almost no females and are very unappealing to the actual female brain in general.
