The idea that Automata is this deep discourse on human state is hilarious. It's just as puddle deep and can only impress a midwit. That's not to say it's bad, what it does is in service of creating certain emotions in players and it does an excellent job of that but that's about it. All the whinging levied against Stellar Blade was also pushed against Automata complete with little faglords crying out how they can't take the game seriously because there's a french maid with round buttocks and high heels jumping in front of them on the screen. Stellar Blade is just a bit more grotesque about it.
