>allow evil men to exist in perpetuity?
Can evil men be changed?
If not, God should prevent evil men from being born. Allowing them to be born when they are destined to eternity in Hell is cruelty to their victims and infinite cruelty to them.
If they can change themselves, God could facilitate that.
Hell is obviously not a good solution. Hell is so comically and absurdly evil that it is literally unfathomable to the human mind how cruel it exactly is.
Let's say a person doesn't believe in God, they live a somewhat shitty life, they're rude to a lot of people, they're selfish. Maybe they had a bad upbringing and these are learned behaviors, maybe they just like it. Either way, they go to hell where they are "in torment" per Luke 16.
One hundred trillion years pass. 100,000,000,000,000 years the person has been in hell for their 70 years on Earth.
That hundred trillion is not even 0.0000000000000001% of the time they will be in Hell. It is the first blink of eternity.
That is literally infinitely more evil than that man ever was, and it is entirely within God's control that this evil happens.
